Here’s how it can happen, for you – with help from Paynetworx
Isn't accepting American Express cards expensive?
With OptBlue, processors set their own rate for American Express acceptance – just like they do for all other card brands. So your rate could be lower than you think.
In effect, Paynetworx can ‘bundle’ Amex along with the other major card brands you already accept.
Talk to us – we’ll happily explain it all.
What are the benefits of OptBlue?
- One convenient payment and statement. One payment and combined statement for all card brands you accept; with American Express on the same statement as your other cards.
- One Service Contact. A single point of contact with Paynetworx to help with questions.
- Rates could be lower than you think. Paynetworx sets your rate for American Express, just like we do for your other cards.
I’m a small/medium sized merchant. Do I qualify?
In order to qualify for OptBlue, a Paynetworx merchant must process under $1MM in annual American Express Charge Volume.*
*As of October 2022, American Express is permitting OptBlue Participants to enable merchants in Education, Charities, Government, Healthcare, Insurance, Online Gambling, Residential Rent and Utilities whose Estimated Annual Charge Volume (ECV) is greater than $1MM.
